Safe Landing Project Donation
Every wild horse rescued from the slaughter pipeline deserves to have a taste of freedom again- even while they’re in quarantine.
They deserve a Spacious & Peaceful place to land.
The safe landing Project is our vision for a state-of-the-art quarantine facility designed specifically for large groups of newly rescued mustangs arriving from auctions and kill pens.
Instead of pens, these horses will step into peaceful quarantine pastures intentionally built to help them decompress, settle in, and begin feeling safe for the very first time.
Our vision includes:
🐎 Spacious 5–15 acre quarantine pastures across 200 acres
🐎 Secure, sturdy fencing designed for wild mustangs
🐎 Individual shelters in every pasture
🐎 Large water troughs and safe feeding areas
🐎 Wide spacing between pastures for optimal quarantine
🐎 A central alleyway with access to every pasture
🐎 A built-in loading chute for safer veterinary care and transport
🐎 Sick barns and smaller working pens for vet care, hoof trims and close monitoring
🐎 Water lines and roads across the whole property
🐎 Enough space to feel like sanctuary — even during quarantine
🐎 A feed trailer with auger for seamless daily feeding
For many horses, this will be the first peaceful environment they’ve experienced in years.
The first quiet night.
The first soft landing.
The first step toward freedom.
And together, we can build it ❤️
We need to raise $500,000 to build out the full 200-acre facility and make this first step into paradise a possibility for the future mustangs of Nirvana that we save from the slaughter pipeline!
