Steely Dan's Story:
This is a horse who we were able to save from Red Orchard Animal Rescue where a mass amount of horses were starved and many died! Steely Dan was one of 40+ animals kept by ROAR when the other 65+ were ordered to be relinquished and were sold to Rail Lazy H Contractor (who rounded up all of the Alpine Wild Horses out of Arizona!) Jackie Hughes, for a mere $0.38 per horse!
We were able to bring a group of 12 home to Nirvana and begin the long road back to health. This group is incredibly friendly and LOVE treats!!
Steely Dan is a beautiful greying gelding who loves to play with the other geldings in his band! He does keep his distance from humans for the most part but will come close to take a good look. He is incredibly regal and looks so beautiful running with his herd.
