Rosette's Story:
This is a horse who we were able to save from Red Orchard Animal Rescue where a mass amount of horses were starved and many died! Rosette was one of 40+ animals kept by ROAR when 65+ were ordered to be relinquished and were sold to Rail Lazy H Contractor (who rounded up all of the Alpine Wild Horses out of Arizona!) Jackie Hughes, for a mere $0.38 per horse!
We were able to bring a group of 12 home to Nirvana and begin the long road back to health. This group is incredibly friendly and LOVE treats!!
Rosette is a unique mare and one of the members of this group who is certainly not actually a mustang. She looks to have some Arabian in her!
Because of this she is usually off by herself more than hanging out with the herd, and she seems to prefer it that way. She enjoys the shade of the woods and drinking leisurely from the creek.
