They move together, even in stillness.
We first met Traveler in August of 2025- he stood out because he was far too WILD to be at a place like the auction.
As we watched him, we noticed he kept returning to his family, over and over.
He captivated thousands of hearts, and in turn won his freedom AND the freedom of his family- Eclipse, Altas, and Scout. Little Fig, an orphan we rescued from the same auction has found her place within the family. Now you see her nestled right in the middle of Traveler's family. They have fully taken her in! It's safe to say she's no longer an orphan.
Traveler stands watchful but calm—his presence steady, his family close.
No one leads with force here. No one follows out of fear.
They read each other in quiet ways—
a shift in weight, a flick of an ear, the space between them.
This is what a herd is meant to be.
Not just survival…
but belonging.
Not just movement…
but connection.
