Raven's Story:
Raven is a young mustang who was rounded up from her wild home by the Bureau of Land Management. She was then adopted, and found herself dumped in to the slaughter pipeline along with a whopping NINE other mustangs that were at her adoptive home!
Raven was far too skinny, and showing signs of strangles on the lot. She needed off the lot and to receive proper care ASAP! Since she was showing signs of strangles, she could not cross state lines as she couldn't get a health certificate due to being sick. She went to our partner in Oklahoma for quarantine, and when she is well then she will get a clean bill of health and be able to cross state lines into Texas!
Raven completes her two month quarantine on February 12th, and will then be able to come home AT LAST and join our herd. We can't wait to see her stretch her legs and RUN FREE once again!
Raven is one of the sweetest young fillies. She looks forward to her daily grain, and has really come around to enjoy being in the presence of humans. She will likely be one of the members within our herd that loves visitors and loves receiving treats!
