Raja's Story:
Before a single horse sells at the auction, every one of them is run through a narrow processing chute. Blood is drawn for their Coggins test, and auction number stickers are glued onto them.
For a wild horse who has never been handled, it is terrifying. Most of them panic. Some get their legs stuck. Some fall.
In May 2026, at the auction in Bowie, Texas, a palomino with a flaxen mane and a white blaze went through that chute. He went down under the rail.
When he came through the sale, we bought him.
His name is Raja.
He spent his first months with us in quarantine, resting, eating, and settling in.
Now?
Raja lives on sanctuary land with his herd, standing in tall green brush and watching every camera like he's deciding, all on his own, whether to trust it.
He was a number sticker at the auction. Now he has a name, a herd, and a whole lifetime ahead of him, thanks to YOU.
