Moonrise & Echo's Story:
In October 2026, a reservation mustang family stood together in the auction pens in Bowie, Texas. A big blue roan mare named Moonrise. Her bay yearling son, Echo. And the mares who never left their side.
On Saturday, in the processing chute, Moonrise was terrified. She reared and went down... and in the chaos, Echo was split off from his mom and sent to the baby pen. Alone.
On Sunday, Moonrise went through the sale ring without him. Afterward, she was put in a pen full of strangers, where she found comfort in a buckskin gelding named Sundown.
And then... YOU showed up. Moonrise, Echo, Mystic and Sunflare were ALL saved.
Their names are Moonrise & Echo.
The day our trailer pulled into quarantine, Moonrise stepped off... and Echo ran straight back to his family.
Mom and son. Together again.
From the processing chute... to FREEDOM, side by side. Now they get to heal together, with their family, for the rest of their lives.
