Ollie's Story:
Ollie was born wild & free in 2012. He and his gelding buddy Pecos are incredibly bonded, and have likely been together for many years.
How they landed in the McLean Texas kill pen with a ship to slaughter date of October 29th 2024, we will never know! It is just so sad that sweet horses like him still end up in that horrific place.
But, the Mustang angels came together and we were able to get Ollie and his buddy Pecos out of the kill pen and they arrived home on November 5th, 2024!
Ollie is a big grey sweetheart with loving eyes, and immediately took to human interaction. He loves scratches on his wide white forehead and gentle nuzzles you for treats.
Ollie is so gentle he will be a great candidate for our kids & veterans programs that we have in the works!
