Mister's Story:
Mister was born wild & free in Palomino Valley, Utah in 2019. As you can see from his photos, he was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED when we found him at the McLean TX Kill pen set to ship to slaughter on October 29th, 2024. His fear broke my heart. Poor boy!!
Luckily for him, the Mustang angels stepped in and we were able to bail him out of the pen before his ship date and offer him sanctuary for life.
Mister a cute boy with hardly any mane or tail, which we assume is why he was left on the lot. Usually horses with his beautiful bay roan coloring are purchased quickly by private parties wanting to train their own Mustang, but Mister was passed over.
He arrived home to Nirvana on November 5th, 2024! He settled in quickly and began approaching humans and taking horse cookies!
