We walked up to the processing chute at the Bowie Auction just as Dynamite and his brother were being tagged in, here's what happened...
His cries absolutely broke my heart, and again the hearts of the hundreds of thousands of people who watched this video. There was nothing I could do to reunite him with his mother until after we bought them!!
On the day of the sale, Dynamite went through the ring alone. It was heartbreaking to see.
During the auction, the Nirvana Family rallied SO HARD that we were able to save the ENTIRE family!!!
They are now home and in quarantine- Dynamite is back with his momma and as soon as they are all healthy again we will watch together as they take their first run in freedom in sanctuary! ❤️
Dynamite has a LONG life ahead of him here with us... it's a special kind of gift to watch one of these little guys grow up, mature, establish a band of their own, and make friends and a life for themselves within our sanctuary.
