Chance's Story:
Chance ended up dumped in the McLean TX Kill Pen, awaiting slaughter. He is a member of a group of 10 we pulled all at once and deemed the Lucky 10! They are all still together to this day though they have joined our big herd.
We aren't sure of Chance's history or Herd Management Area of origin, but we do know he is a younger boy who certainly has been treated roughly by humans. In his lot video, they tried to showcase how "gentle" he is by rubbing his face. Each time, he recoiled greatly and you could see the immense FEAR in his expression.
Since arriving to us, he is one of the Lucky 10 members who keeps the furthest away from people! It's so peculiar how the mustangs that come to us with "training" are often the horses who actually are the most fearful of humans due to the "training" they've been through.
