Aurelius's Story:
Aurelius ended up dumped in the McLean TX Kill Pen, awaiting slaughter. He is a very light palomino gelding with such curiosity for humans!
Even though he was haltered and lead around at the lot, he's a typical case of a mustang who has been forced through training all the while he still has a lot of fear and truly doesn't actually WANT to partner with humans at all!
We are so grateful that now he gets to live his wild life on his terms, without being trained with fear and force.
He is a member of the group we call the Lucky 10- a bunch of mustangs that were stuck on the lot with little hope of being saved! This group was quarantined together, so they are all now very bonded and remain together within our big herd.
