November 10th, 2025: Liam was rushed to the vet- though he had been doing much better over the weekend he could not stand on his own this morning!!
November 15th, 2025: We got the call that Liam passed while at the vet. His momma Lillian is doing well and gaining strength and vitality. Liam paid the price for the broken system. The slaughter pipeline. He never should have been where he was. His momma never should've been starved. We're so sorry sweet boy. We are grateful to have the chance to try for you. You knew love and a full belly in your last days.
Guinevere had her wounds scrubbed, we could see under her forelock that she was bleeding from an old cut from before her time at auction that had mostly healed, but she musta have knocked it again in the process of the auction. The vet cleaned everything well, flushed with iodine, added drainage, and prescribed antibiotics & daily cleaning.
