Grace's Story:
Grace was rounded up from her wild home by the Bureau of Land Management and after being adopted from and titled by the BLM, ended up in the McLean TX Kill Pen, destined to ship to slaughter.
Lucky for her, the mustang angels of the Nirvana Family stepped in and came together so we could transport Grace to Nirvana along with a group of other mares, Holly, Joy, Noelle, Vixen, and Vixen's baby Phoenix. Phoenix is Grace's best friend- though Phoenix is much younger, he brings out Grace's playful spirit and the two of them are constantly running jumping and prancing about! It is such a sweet bond to witness, as it seems Grace has found her family within this group of horses she was saved with.
What a change, from being in the kill pen all alone, to having a wonderful family! We look forward to watching Grace grow and seeing who else she forms bonds with within our herd. She is the sweetest most curious young mare!!
