Vixen's Story:
Vixen is a mustang mare who was rounded up from her wild home by the Bureau of Land Management. She was then adopted, and bred to a stud in order to add weight to her frame so she would be more valuable to meat buyers who get paid by the pound.
She now finds herself dumped in the slaughter pipeline.
She already had her baby and he is at her side in the McLean Texas kill pen. If we are unable to save her, she will ship to Mexico along with three other mares from her adoptive home!
